According to the Traffic Safety Department of Uzbekistan, for the first time, a driver has exceeded the limit under the newly introduced 12-point system. One driver accumulated 12.5 penalty points, and his case has been referred to court.

It was reported that across the country, another 11 drivers have accumulated 8–10 penalty points. Of these, five are in Tashkent city, three in Surxondaryo region, and the rest are from Namangan, Samarkand, and Tashkent regions.

We remind you that the penalty point system for traffic violations was introduced on April 1, 2026. After 8 points, a warning SMS is sent to the driver; if the points exceed 12, the case is sent to court to consider revoking the driver's license.
