Kazakhstani athletes participating in the Paris Olympics tested positive for COVID-19. Press Secretary to the President Berik Uali reported this.

It has been announced that the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will award state honors to athletes and coaches who have won medals at the 2024 Olympics. The head of state had planned to meet with them. However, it has been found that some of them have contracted the coronavirus.

"Unfortunately, the virus was detected in some athletes and coaches, so we had to postpone the meeting to another day. We wish our athletes a speedy recovery,"— says the President's Press Secretary.
