The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced the draft state budget for 2025 here.

The document indicates the amount of funds allocated for pensions among all sectors and industries. 

According to the source, in 2025, it is forecasted that 21.1 trillion som from the republic budget will be directed to the National Agency for Social Protection. 
The agency will distribute the funds as follows:

  • for child benefits and financial assistance to low-income families — 7.3 trillion som;
  • for pensions to citizens unable to work and without the necessary work experience — 5.6 trillion som;
  • for mothers caring for children with disabilities  2 trillion som;
  • for maternity benefits (childbirth grants) — 275 billion som;
  • to cover funeral expenses — 271.3 billion som;
  • for providing housing to orphans and children deprived of parental care —140 billion som;
  • for the expenses of providing needy individuals with prosthetic-orthopedic devices and technical means for rehabilitation — 70 billion som;
  • for one-time financial assistance to needy families in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region — 22.6 billion som.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance is set to allocate 1 trillion som from the funds allocated for the compensation of maternity and childbirth benefits for employees of budget organizations. Additionally, 40 billion som will be allocated for expenses related to the payment of maternity benefits to women working in the private sector from budget funds.

In general, next year it is planned to allocate a total of 17.3 trillion som from the budget for pensions, financial assistance, and compensation payments. 

The project indicates that in 2025, more than 6.6 trillion som will be directed towards expenses related to increasing wages, pensions, scholarships, and benefits in the country, as well as some service tariffs.
