In the Yangiyul district of Tashkent region, a citizen cut down several perennial trees. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent regional Department of Ecology.
It is reported that ecological control measures were carried out by inspectors of the Regional Department of Ecology in the Bunyodkor neighborhood of Yangiyul district. During the process, it was discovered that a citizen B.N. had cut down 5 trees – 2 poplars and 3 walnut trees without any authorization.
In this case, an administrative protocol was issued against the citizen under Article 79, part 1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (Illegal felling, damaging, destroying or relocating of trees, shrubs, other plants or seedlings). The damage to nature was estimated at 533 million UZS.
Relevant documents have been prepared and sent to the Prosecutor's Office of Tashkent region for legal assessment regarding the situation.
