Together with the state institution for monitoring and control of public transport in the city of Tashkent, intensified raids began on buses to identify passengers falling without paying a fare. This was reported by the traffic control inspection information service.
It has been noted that most passengers are making payments on time, and that “at a point where the system is acknowledging convenience, some are often getting off the bus without having to pay the fare for any reason”.
As the company "Toshshahartransxizmat" clarifies, fines for non-ticketed walkers began on March 14. They are subject to a fine of one-tenth of a BHM-37,000, under Article 144 (5) of the code of administrative responsibility, for a passenger to ride without a ticket inside the city and on a bus travelling to the suburbs.
When payment is made using one-time QR-tickets, it must be kept during the trip and shown to them based on the request of the supervisor and inspectors. Employees conduct such inspections daily.
