A citizen has lodged a complaint to the Competition Authority about the "ENVIRON PG" LLC-owned "Estelle" beauty salon, where the "yellow peeling" procedure resulted in severe chemical burns on approximately 80 percent of his face, leading to a difficult treatment process and financial burdens. has been received.

As a result of the investigations and analyses conducted by the Committee, several violations of the law were detected. 

In particular, it was found that the "Estelle" beauty salon performed cosmetological services requiring a medical license without any proper permits, the staff member who provided the peeling service did not have his higher medical education confirmed, and the procedures offered did not meet the established quality and safety standards.

Taking into account the severe consequences suffered by the victim and the fact that the activities of the "Estelle" beauty salon showed signs of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan — performing activities that require a license or other permits without the necessary documents, the documents collected by the Committee were sent to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan for legal assessment in accordance with established procedures.
