Yesterday, on May 20th, the case was reviewed in the Shaykhontohur district court dealing with criminal cases.
According to the court document, on May 16th, at around 10:10, S.B., born in 2006, while going from “Pakhtakor” station to “Friendship of Peoples” station, committed sexual harassment against Sh.A. During the court session, Sh.A. testified that upon entering the metro wagon, the person who was later identified as S.B., bumped into her lower back with their hand, initially thinking it was accidental, but then S.B. grabbed her from the lower back again and harassed her, after which she handed him over to the police.
The accused S.B. admitted his guilt and confessed to groping and harassing Sh.A. by holding her lower back, expressed regret for his actions, and asked the court for leniency.
The court found him guilty under Article 41-1, Part 1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (sexual harassment) and sentenced him to five days of administrative detention.
