In the capital, a 27-year-old man was found to have abused the trust of his future bride and sold her house for 240 thousand dollars through fraud.

According to the Tashkent City DIA, Sh.R., born in 1997, in August 2024, used the excuse of "having problems" before the wedding and put the bride's house up as collateral. He then sold this house to another person for 240,000 US dollars and fled.

A criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 4, paragraph "a" of Article 168 of the Criminal Code, and he has been detained. During the investigation, it was revealed that Sh.R. had also committed several other frauds against other individuals. The case is currently being considered in the Mirzo Ulugbek district court.
