According to the report, at the store, instead of printing a receipt for 20,000 soum for the product purchased by the customer, an incomprehensible error occurred, and a receipt for 2 billion soum was printed. As a result, the seller was faced with millions in taxes.
The entrepreneur appealed to the tax authority to cancel the receipt due to a large amount of excess tax debt, but was informed that the data could not be edited and the problem was not resolved.
A complaint was filed with the Navoi Inter-District Administrative Court by the Khatirchi district justice department regarding the finding that the Navoi regional tax authority's action of not editing the relevant receipt on April 17, 2025, was illegal.
The court ruled in favor of the entrepreneur.
