During an urgent operation conducted in collaboration between the State Security Service and the Customs Committee, a Lada Largus car that entered through the "Navoi" border customs post was inspected. As a result, 2 kg 300 grams of the narcotic substance "mephedrone" were discovered hidden inside the gearbox casing in the cargo compartment.
It is reported that this cargo was to be delivered by a driver living in Bukhara region to a person from Kashkadarya region. During the urgent operation, the person who accepted the order was also detained.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and the measure of detention has been applied against the suspects.
