In 2025, nearly 20,000 twin lambs were born in Uzbekistan.

According to official data, a large part of this indicator — 859,065 people — corresponds to single births.

At the same time, in 19,976 cases twins were born, and in 558 cases, three or more babies were born.

Specialists emphasize that although the share of multiple births is relatively small in the total number of births, this indicator demonstrates the importance of the quality of medical services and perinatal care in demographic processes.
