In Tashkent, an entrepreneur who offered a $30,000 bribe to an FSB officer has been detained.

The head of a private limited company, who intended to bribe an official for the acceptance into operation of a 12-story residential complex, has been detained.

In the capital, an active entrepreneur, in order to get approval for putting into operation a 12-story residential complex built in the Yakkasaroy district by the LLC he leads, which has a number of unresolved deficiencies, offered a bribe of 30,000 US dollars to an employee of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Tashkent city in exchange for a positive resolution of an application submitted through the "Nazorat.MS.UZ" electronic portal.

The employee reported this to the responsible authorities. Subsequently, during a rapid operation conducted in cooperation by the State Security Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the head of the LLC was caught red-handed while handing over the money.

Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 3, paragraph "a" of Article 211 of the Criminal Code (bribery), and the preventive measure of "detention" has been applied. Investigative actions are ongoing.
