During an urgent operation conducted in cooperation with the State Security Service's Border Troops and the Tashkent Region Directorate, as well as employees of internal affairs bodies, a citizen born in 1998, residing in the city of Bekabad, who illegally crossed the state border by swimming across the Syrdarya River from the Republic of Tajikistan, was detained. The 5 kg 31 g of "hashish" substance found in his possession was officially seized in accordance with procedural rules.
In another case, during an inspection carried out with the participation of witnesses in a room of one of the private medical clinics operating in the capital, in cooperation between the State Security Service's Tashkent Region Directorate and customs authorities, it was discovered that there was 1 kg 367 g of "hashish" substance belonging to an individual born in 1970 who was undergoing treatment at the said clinic.
During an urgent operation conducted in cooperation between the State Security Service's Fergana Region Directorate and employees of internal affairs bodies, an individual born in 1998, residing in Fergana district, was caught while receiving 1 kg 21 g of "hashish" substance that had been previously hidden and left for him by his criminal accomplice.
Furthermore, 2 g of "opium" substance was seized from his place of residence as material evidence.
As a result of the measures taken, his alleged criminal accomplice - a citizen born in 1998, residing in the city of Fergana - was also detained.
In the next case, a previously surveilled citizen born in 1999, residing in the Kosh-Tepa district of Fergana region, was caught with material evidence while attempting to flee the scene after discarding 996 g of "hashish" substance from his "Nexia" model car while driving in the territory of Margilan city.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against all offenders under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and the preventive measure of "detention" has been applied. Investigative actions are ongoing.
