In 1 week, more than 2,700 cases of theft of energy resources were identified. This was reported by the State Security Service.
It is noted that on April 1-7, 2025, raids were conducted in cooperation with the State Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, and Uzenergoinspektsiya.
During these events, 2,776 cases of illegal use of energy resources were revealed. Of the identified cases, 1,807 were related to the illegal use of electricity, and 969 to the illegal use of natural gas, and the total damage caused to the state exceeded 19.5 billion soums.
Based on the pre-investigation inquiry, 39 criminal cases were initiated, and administrative measures were taken in 263 cases.
At the same time, as a result of the measures taken, damages in the amount of 6.8 billion soums were recovered in favor of the state.
