In the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, a citizen born in 1985 was detained while posting advertisements for a Telegram channel selling drugs on walls and poles. This was reported by the press service of the capital's Main Department of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that the investigation revealed that drugs were indeed being distributed. During an interview with the citizen, it was revealed that he was receiving 2,000 soums for each advertisement.
"I started this work 4 days ago. On the fourth day, police officers detained me. If you log in through a QR code, they explained that this is a drug trafficking channel. We are doing this knowingly or unknowingly," said the accused.
This case was considered in the Uchtepa District Criminal Court, and the citizen was found guilty under Article 56-prim 4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (production, distribution, advertising, demonstration of narcotic drugs, their analogues or products promoting psychotropic substances).
A fine of 100 BRV (37.5 million soums) was imposed on the citizen.
