In the Shaykhantakhur district of Tashkent, an unknown person threatened people with a knife. This was reported by the press service of the capital's Main Department of Internal Affairs.

It is noted that on April 18, at approximately 7:40 p.m., the Department of Security received a report that the "anxiety button" was pressed at one of the parking lots on Sebzor Street.

67-year-old Kh.S., while intoxicated, violated public order by threatening the parking guard and other citizens with a kitchen knife. Then he fled the scene and went into one of the apartment buildings.

A video circulating on social media shows a man frightening a lone child in an elevator and slapping him several times. In another case, other children run away from him and hide in an apartment building.

According to the department, as a result of the prompt measures taken, he was detained and taken to the nearest police station. The citizen did not inflict bodily harm on anyone with a knife.

In connection with the situation, an administrative report was drawn up against Kh.S. under Article 183 (Petty Hooliganism), Article 194 (Failure to comply with the lawful demands of an employee of the internal affairs bodies) and Article 185-2 (Carrying a cold weapon or items that can be used as a cold weapon) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

"The Shaykhantakhur District Criminal Court sentenced this person to 10 days of administrative arrest," the report says.
