In Bukhara, a traffic police officer who rejected the driver's offer for a «connection-based favor» was awarded a cash prize. This was reported by the Bukhara Road Safety Department press service here.

As noted, a video spread on social media showed a traffic police officer switching off a driver's phone who was trying to avoid responsibility by asking for a "connection-based favor".

This video revealed that the officer was Sergeant Sunnat Ergashev of the Traffic Patrol Service of the Gijduvan District Department of Internal Affairs in Bukhara province. For his conscientious approach to his duty, he was encouraged with a cash prize of 3,000,000 UZS by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Road Safety Department.

"May our system continue to increase with such employees. We never tire of showcasing workers who serve conscientiously like him to the public," — the report states.
